849 Naval Air Squadron

    849 A Flight joined Ark Royal for its tour of duty in the Gulf in January 2003. The ship returned to Portsmouth on Saturday, May 17th 2003. Members of 849 Squadron had already left the ship as it sailed past Falmouth: they returned to their base of HMS Seahawk in Cornwall.
